OUR STORY
The year was 1915. First with a horse drawn wagon and then with a model T Ford truck, my great grandfather started out delivering what were essential products – coal, milk, and ice to homes and businesses in Akron, New York. Coal gradually was replaced by other cleaner, safer energy sources and deliveries ceased in the early 1960s. Milk deliveries were continued by my grandfather, uncle and my dad up until his retirement in 2018.
Ice service changed over the years with the advent of home refrigerators. Today we deliver packaged ice throughout western New York. Our modern fleet of refrigerated trucks along with ice merchandisers can be seen from the lake Ontario shoreline to the Pennsylvania border delivering clear, clean and cold ice to a variety of users.
We are continuing the commitment my family has made over four generations and a century of service. Delivering high quality products with quick, reliable, friendly service to hundreds of satisfied customers remains our mission.
